SA Special Duties, Hon. Ogunlende pays Courtesy visit to Lasbca

The Special Adviser to the Lagos State Governor on Special Duties and Inter-Governmental Relations, Hon. Bolaji Ogunlende, today paid a courtesy visit to the Lagos State Building Control Agency (LASBCA).

The visit was aimed at fostering a closer working relationship and to discuss areas where both Government Ministry and Agency can collaborate to achieve shared goals.

During the visit, Hon. Ogunlende emphasized the importance of a seamless working relationship between the various government agencies in order to achieve the desired results for the good people of Lagos State.

Whilst expressing his appreciation for the efforts of LASBCA in ensuring that buildings in the state meet set standards and regulations, Hon. Ogunlende promised to support the agency in any way possible.

He further pledged the cooperation of his Ministry through the operating agencies under it for better service delivery, and said that his Ministry is always ready to collaborate with other agencies to make Lagos State a better place for its residents.

Also speaking, the Special Adviser to the Governor on E-GIS and Planning Matters, Dr. Olajide Abiodun Babatunde urged officials of LASBCA to always be on top of their duties and do all within their means to ensure that Lagos buildings remain safe, secure and Habitable.

The General Manager, LASBCA Arc. Gbolahan Oki earlier in his welcome address thanked Hon. Ogunlende for his visit highlighted the Agency’s activities in ensuring that buildings in the state meet the required standards and regulations.

Speaking further, Oki said, the visit is a positive step towards a better future for the people of Lagos, as it highlights the Lagos State government’s commitment to improving service delivery and ensuring that the state’s infrastructure meets world-class standards.

 

He maintained that it also underscores the importance of close collaboration between government agencies in order to achieve the desired results.
