The General Manager, Lagos State Building Control Agency (LASBCA), Arc. Gbolahan Owodunni Oki (FNIA) today admonished staff to up their game for better service delivery and seamless achievements of set goals and objectives.
This admonition was made during the Agency’s first working day celebration/prayer of the new year at LASBCA’s Headquarters in Ikeja, GRA.
Oki who used the avenue to thank the staff for a job well-done in the year 2023 also urged them to up their game for greater achievements in the new year as the reward for good work is more work.
“LASBCA as an Agency is a service provider and a checkmating Agency and as such officials in the Agency must up their game in the discharge of their statutory duties for seamless actualization of set goals and objectives” he stated.
He also reiterated the importance of building true love amongst the officials for better good of all and for seamless job performance as no meaningful thing can be achieved without love and cooperation of all in the workplace.
The General Manager also urged the staff to take their health seriously as living healthy is working healthy and a two time medical check-ups will be organized by the Agency for workers in order to ascertain their health status and proper medical attention given to those that needs it.
“During the Year there will be a medical check-ups for all staff of the Agency in order to know their medical conditions as the health of every worker is paramount and this is needed to checkmate any unforseen contingencies in the future” he added.
During the celebration some Directors and Heads of Units took turn to highlight their year 2023 achievements and what they intend to achieve in the new year for the benefits of the Agency and the State in General.
They called for more collaborative efforts from staff and Stakeholders’ in the built industry as this will help boost the overall realization of LABCA’s sets goals and objectives in the new year.
The Agency Secretary of LASBCA, Mrs. Omolara Daba in her closing address thanked the officials for a job well-done and also urged them to be more dedicated and committed in the discharge of their statutory duties.
