The Lagos State Building Control Agency (LASBCA) in collaboration with the Lagos State Physical Planning Permit Authority (LASPPPA) and the State Taskforce today continued with the Governor’s directives in Banana Island with the re-sealing of 12 buildings hitherto sealed and the removal of two illegal fences.

The structures were sealed for various contraventions ranging from building without Planning Permit Approval,failure to obtain Authorization to Commence Construction from LASBCA, Break of Government Seal amongst others.

The General Manager of LASBCA, Arc. Gbolahan Owodunni Oki who led the operation stated that the ongoing removal and sealing of these buildings in Banana Island and also across the State is geared towards compelling compliance on the part of the building publics in order to bring sanity to the built sector.
